RS232-TCP/IP-Converter Module in a housing for use indoor

With the RS232-TCP/IP-converter you can connect a REINHARDT-weather station MWS 9-5, MWS 8, MWS 6 (with datalogger box only), MWS 5MV, MWS 4M or a sensor with datalogger with RS232-interface. The output RS232-protocol is converted into a network protocol (TCP/IP), so that the connected weather station can be integrated directly into a TCP/IP-network. Through the converter, the connected weather station gets an IP-address at a port which is freely chosen (via the webinterface of the converter) and can thus be scanned over the complete network. It is easy to connect the TCP/IP-Module Indoor to the weather station or the sensor: It is just looped into the connection of the weather station or sensor (single plug connection).

In order to transmit the TCP/IP-protocol via optical fibre (lightning protection, extended range, …) you can use SFP-modules combined with media converters. For more details, see the manual of the weather stations.
