Method of Measuring Precipitation
A funnel of 200 cm2(obligatory Deutscher Wetterdienst) collects the raindrops. The water is directed to a bucket which tips whenever a quantity of 0.1 mm (0,1 l/m2) is full. The bucket empties and creates a pulse. A microprocessor calculates the records and transmits them to a memory or to evaluation via the serial interface.
This ombrometer (pluviometer) measures precipitation on a 200 cm2 area. There is an optional heating for use all year round.
- maximum: 7 mm/min
- Resolution: 0.1 mm
- Accuracy: 0.2 mm
- Temperature range: -40 to +60 degrees C with heating
- Supply: 12-15 V, 65 mA at 12 V
Internal datalogger for 21,845 records (not compressed), storage interval from 2 sec to 36 hours, serial interface, max. 100 m (RS422 up to 1,000 m) between sensor and computer, incl. evaluation software
Ultraviolet Sensor
The sensor measures ultraviolet radiation via a SiC-diode in the global range with hemispherical characteristics in a spectral range of 320 ... 395 nm.
- Temperature range: -40 to +60 degrees C
- Supply: 12-15 V, 65 mA at 12 V
Internal datalogger for 21,845 records (not compressed), storage interval from 2 sec to 36 hours, serial interface, max. 100 m (optional with RS422 up to1,000 m) between sensor and computer, incl. evaluation software
